One of the challenges people face while learning French is putting what they learn into practice but you don't need to tell smart kids at home. Sometimes, you can make calls to your friends who speak French and have conversations in French, if possible you can invite him or her over, when they see you speaking they will ask which language your speaking, don't be surprise if you re asked this kind of question, when I first heard people speaking French i didn't know it was French as a beginner that is simply because speaking is a different chapter entirely but if you try this approach,  it will register in their minds that they are learning to speak like you and your friend. 

Another method is presenting their cartoon shows in French for example Dora the explorer. take your time to translate and help them spell.

Introduce songs and explain the meaning of the songs.

Love to learn a new language 

Do you remember that you didn't want to study French in the first place? 90% of Nigeria French graduate did not put in for French. It is difficult to develop a strong passion to study French in secondary or primary school because of the availability of other options, now I'm not going to say which course is bad or good because by now we all know that French is a good course.

If you as a French graduate want to teach French, the first thing to do is to work hard towards sowing the desire to learn a new language in your students and that depends on their level., endeavor to transfer how you feel about the language to them through your words and your pronunciation must be outstanding too. Speak French to them and appreciate their effort to respond by some words of encouragement. Always make them expect the next contact.

Adjust your price

Some French tutors might ask you to pay 40/50k every month. This is simply fraud why? He or she is not a magician and learning a language is determined by many factors. If your plan is to help your student write French within a month and he or she is a slow learner, then your plan will fail. If you’re not passionate about impacting knowledge, there is no need going into tutoring.
