French language students living in anglophone countries should endeavor to examine themselves from time to time to know their language level how can they go about this self examination?.

Do i speak better?

 There are 3 stages of Language acquisition

1) Beginner stage
2) Intermediate  stage
3) Advanced stage

If you are really interested in the language you're learning, it doesn't take long to leave the first stage but unfortunately, most French students tend to slow down at the second stage . The truth is there is always a better way of saying things and language learning doesn't end . If you understand English for example you can sometimes meet people who even speak better than you ,it doesn't mean that your poor in English it only means that you need to continue improving.

Let's quickly compare these two sentences.

I want to change the movie but i can't eject the CD.

I want to change the movie but i can't remove the CD

You can clearly see the difference.The first sentence sounds better than the second in fact that is the best word to use in that context. The same applies to all languages ,the more you improve , the more you express yourself better.

HOW TO IMPROVE

You can simply start by doing the things you enjoy in the language you're learning. French students can see their favorite movies in French. You can simply just keep struggling to make sure you get the French version of every thing you enjoy. Expand your vocabulary and use it.
