ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF CHANGING YOUR PHONE LANGUAGE TO FRENCH

SHOULD I CHANGE MY PHONE LANGUAGE TO FRENCH?

Changing the language settings on your cell phone can really intensify your learning experience . The symbols are all the same you know more or less how to answer Phone calls and send text messages, but since you're forced to see the words for the terms everyday you'll learn how to spell and say those words in the appropriate language at a much quicker rate but don't be suprise if i say i'm not fully in support of this action

WHY?

1. Changing your phone language to French can cause many problems because some people keep vital information on their Phones and as soon as they change the phone language settings, they begin to delete important stuffs like Phone Contacts

2. If not careful you might even end up wiping off your Phone Memory.

As a French Student, you need to assess yourself from time to time, you need to know if you’re still a Beginner, Intermediate or Professional learner. Don't rush into something you’re not prepared for.

ADVANTAGES OF CHANGING YOUR PHONE LANGUAGE TO FRENCH AS A FRENCH LEARNER

You can try changing your phone language along with your email accounts, social media accounts and search browsers. Do not underestimate the power of passive learning. Before you even crack open a phrasebook, you’ll know words like “send,” “delete,” “edit,” “message,” “cancel,” and all sorts of other vocabulary just from using your phone on a daily basis.

For example, I have two Facebook accounts; one is in French and the other in English.
How did it help me?

Let's learn something from this page

IL Y A 10 HEURE

IL Y A = THERE IS, THERE ARE

IL Y A UNE MAISON= THERE IS A HOUSE

BUT WHEN FOLLOWED BY A PERIOD OR TIME, IL Y A IS THE EQUIVALENT OF AGO

THAT IS WHY WE HAVE

IL Y A 10 HEURE =TEN HOURS AGO

Apart from that, you can improve your vocabulary.

In Summary, using your cell phone in French is a good idea but if you don't have the time to check for the meaning of every French word you come across on your Phone it’s advisable to use it in English till you acquire enough vocabulary
